At our Kings Road nursery we care for children from three to twelve years of age, we support you and your child from preschool to the end of primary school.

The preschool aged rooms are all designed with the children’s specific developmental needs in mind and are equipped with resources to focus on the six areas of learning.

We also offer funded preschool (PEG’s) places for children in their immediate year before beginning primary school. We run a morning and afternoon session where we follow the current curriculum, spending this exciting time preparing the children to start primary school. We also have an immersive bi-lingual Spanish assistant for children aged three to four to introduce them to an additional language through play.

For our primary aged children breakfast club is available for a nutritious breakfast before taking them to school by car, mini bus or walking when possible. After school we have lots of constructive, creative and physical activities for the children to take part in and also dedicated time for supervised homework. Our afterschool rooms are open all year round to cover school holidays and closures.

We have an extensive outdoor area with plenty of space to run around and play, have team games, arts & crafts and music. We also have a fabulous preschool garden with a mud kitchen, planting area, reading nook and a wormery/ bug hotel amongst lots of other exciting things. This garden covers all the areas of learning for the children in an outdoor environment.

Throughout the year we host various events such as an annual Fun Day, a tea-party for preschool children and an 80’s party. We take the children to local parks as well as planned outings like W5, The Ark Farm & Let’s Go Hydro.

We have a team of qualified staff, above Minimum Standards’ requirements, and we also encourage them to take part in any additional training courses available. We consistently receive excellent Inspection Reports from our Governing Trust and from E.T.I. for our funded preschool. This is through the hard work, teamwork, dedication and devotion of our staff and Wee Care’s strong professional standards.
