Facilities

We are a well-established facility in South Belfast that specialises in the support and development of children from the baby months to the end of primary school. Many of our babies stay with us from the baby room to the end of P7 and we are proud to help them flourish into young adults.

Our building is designed specifically to enrich the care of children from six weeks to 12 years of age. Our rooms and outdoor spaces were planned with the help of Early Years to support all areas of the children’s learning and personal growth. We have 2 large front gardens with age appropriate equipment to meet all stages of development along with a sheltered outdoor area in our pre-school group. This allows all our children to be outside in the fresh air all year-round which is essential to health and happiness.

We also have a physical room and sensory room to provide a stimulation and fun change of environment on the days we cannot get outdoors.

Our priority is ensuring that your first experience of childcare is positive for everyone, we will support you as parents as well as your child. We also hold parent information evenings to help you feel confident with the various issues you encounter raising a new child, for example First Aid or Sleep Advice sessions. 

We consistently receive excellent Inspection Reports from our Governing Trust through the hard work, dedication and devotion of our staff. We are renowned for our friendly, homely atmosphere and the staff take pride in the service we give. This is achieved by patience, love and strong professional standards. We have an extremely high number of well qualified staff, well above what is required in the Minimum Standards, many of whom have been with us for over ten years.

Our staff take on additional training such as Baby massage, promoting positive behaviour, First aid and food hygiene. This is to ensure the children in Wee Care are getting cared for to the highest standard possible, which they all deserve.
